FBN MD....Completed.

In drawing the above portrait, I was able to explore some techniques which required a lot of patience than I have given to previous portraits drawn by me. The work took about 15hrs+ (spread over three days) to complete.

Taking Realistic Pencil Drawing to the Next Level

My latest artwork of the Nigerian actress,'Omotola', marked a watershed in my portraiture as I applied some tools I have never used before such as pastel and certain grades of the graphite pencil. The Journey to Perfection

On the blog this week, I’ll be unveiling my latest portrait (see below). The funny thing about this work is that the hardest part in designing the work seemingly didn’t look hard but that was the reality I encountered in the course of executing the ‘project’. Someone may want to ask ‘what’s the hardest part you’re talking about? The answer lies in the arms. The intricacies involved in designing
a realistic portrait demand a thorough examination of the details of the picture to be portrayed in order to achieve the desired effects. In this case, the aforementioned arms really gave me ‘tough time’ but at the end I came up tops. BREAKING NEWS: This is for those seeking for training opportunity on how to sharpen their skills in drawing realistic pencil portraits, the opportunity is here now. I’ll be conducting online training sessions on “How to make a pencil portrait right from the basics to the perfection point”. You can register your interest and inquiries via my email address: obinna1074@yahoo.com. Thank you.

Little Patience Can Do

My latest work was designed as a wedding gift for a young couple. It took me a couple of days to make up which is quite usual for any artwork that is to be reckoned with.I have discovered by experience that an extra 'moment' of patience dedicated to any art production tends to bring out the needed aesthetic touch. This has informed my decision to be detailed in my drawings.

Not Different From Your Person

One major thing in my drawing is that I try to be as realistic as possible.Giving attention to the Minutest details in the figure I'm portraying is a trait that has helped in perfecting my trade. Obviously, the beauty of art lies in its realism with no space for haphazard or careless work. Have you gotten a taste of my arts today?
